New Moon in Taurus

It’s Your Gift to Others and to the Planet

New Moon May

Taurus is basically a peaceful sign, but it is currently under stress as it’s in a tug-of-war with it’s polar opposite, Scorpio. This is for everyone on the planet and continues until February, 2014. Saturn joins Scorpio’s team in this tug-of-war in September. Things are feeling dangerous or, at the least, unsettled. So, what happens to us personally when we feel threatened? Most of us hold our breath, or gasp, or breathe shallowly as we assess the situation.

New Moon in Aries

I am. I need to be. I will be because I am.

Fear rears its head when I feel that I am not.

April New Moon 2013

There is an INSTINCTUAL need to BE with Aries.

We’ve just come out of three cold winter months and some intense spiritual and emotional work. I’m ready to play! Spring is in the air and just look out world here I come. Aries wants to start something new, NOW. With Aries we want to speak our mind, jump and wiggle ourselves in joy, head on down the road, what ever the whim is, act on it. Putting on the breaks comes later. There’s an instinctual urge and lot of independence with Aries energy. Maybe the creation point sprung from Aries energy....... just a thought.

New Moon in Pisces

March 11, 2013 2:51 pm CDT

Pisces is a Mystical Water Sign.

March New Moon 2013

But It’s Far From Being a Fairy Tale.

Last month’s footnote was about the SEVEN planets that would group together in the sign of Pisces on March 11. Well, here we are. Have you found that you’ve been contemplating more? Have you experienced the mystical side of Pisces? Do you feel as though you’ve been swimming in a fog? Is there a situation in your life that may be a little difficult to understand? Are you a little confused? Good. That’s Pisces too. And through the confusion we surrender to SOURCE, or not.

The water element in Pisces washes away our ego. It creates an urge to surrender to that which we cannot fathom. It edges us toward faith and trust, and by nature we humans resist. We say to our selves, I don’t want to surrender. I just want a little peace. Surrender sounds scary. Trust sounds scary. What will happen to “me” if I surrender, will “I” be washed away, and will I make my way back to “me”?

New Moon February 2013

New Moon in Aquarius

February 10, 2013 1:20 am CDT

*Please read the extra note at the bottom of the page.

You’re ok. You’re you! Look at the hope dawning in this little guy’s eyes.

January New Moon 2012

You’re just fine the way you are. Keep your ‘Self’ company.

For a thousand years and more we’ve been under the expectation to be like someone else, everyone else, to play by the rules, to stay in line, to be good! Don’t rock the boat. Don’t be gloomy, and for heaven’s sake don’t speak up unless someone else does first. Be polite – What would the neighbors think? Our individuality has been discouraged.

Truth be told, our emotional bodies have taken a lot of hits through many lifetimes, and finding our way back home is a longgggg process. Trauma can cause us to emotionally split off from ourselves. If the trauma is deep enough, it can take lifetimes to heal. Just think of this lifetime and the time it has taken to heal from childhood pain, broken relationships, betrayals, the death of a loved one, and physical pain. Imagine the soul’s journey. It’s mind boggling.

New Moon in Capricorn

January 11, 2013 1:43 pm CDT

Capricorn rules the skin, the bones, and the teeth, giving structure to the human body. The Sun is in Capricorn as we begin our new year. It always is. Today the New Moon saddles up to the Sun and joins in this massive influence of Capricorn energy. This powerful combination creates a desire for most of us to initiate some new structure in our lives for 2013. We set goals, try new resolutions, clean out closets, and attempt to recreate our reality. Capricorn’s desire for structure comes from a couple of areas, fear of stagnation and fear of chaos.

It is the archetype of Capricorn that provides structure in the office, in the community, in the armed forces, and in the government. And it’s not easy to agree on structures because each of us creates our own reality. For any two people to agree on workable structure is a small miracle. Somebody has to set the rules...it’s usually the archetype of Capricorn at work.

We all live within structure. As we live within the framework of nature, i.e. as long as we are in physical bodies, we react to circumstances and make human choices and in doing so we create our reality. And this is grown up work! Frivolous is set aside. Winter is here, and in every life time there will be a periods of winter. Discipline must be learned. There are great bridges to cross. Finding ourselves periodically in a state of chaos or stagnation, we sit our grown-up selves down, and we restructure our lives. And we usually cross these great bridges without assistance for who can assist? It can be precarious. It requires single focus.

We conquer the lower self.

January New Moon 2012

As we learn discipline we become the disciple.
We don’t look over our shoulder to see how anyone else is crossing.
This is our time.
Lonely?
Maybe.
Empowering?
Yes.
Necessary?
Without a doubt.
